KAPELLE DAY 2001

Melton's Mayoral Visit

England's youngest-ever mayor's consort, Jack Cullen (aged 13), accompanied his father Mayor of Melton Tim Cullen to our twin town for its festive day in August, clearly demonstrating his support of his declared aims.
The first picture from their album shows them listening attentively to the Opening Ceremony by the Burgemeester.

Jack later posed with him and two other residents who were in traditional Dutch costumes and then joined his father and the Burgemeester with the Aldermen of Kapelle.
