• Thursday 24th July 2003 - A POLISH-THEMED SOCIAL EVENING commencing at 7.30p.m. in the Council Offices, Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray.
  Councillor and Mrs. Mark Barnes (Mayor & Mayoress) will give a talk on their recent Civic Visit to Sochaczew
  Polish-style refreshments will be served

• Thursday 25th September 2003 - 7 for 7.30pm at Quorn Lodge Hotel, Melton Mowbray.
  There will be an opportunity to take Dinner at this meeting - to book contact Margaret Morris on 01664-481141
  After dinner speaker will be Cllr. Mark Barnes, Mayor of the Borough of Melton on 'The future of Twinning in Melton'

Meetings are generally scheduled for the fourth Thursday in the month: tentative dates for 2004 are therefore: 22nd January, 26th February, 25th March (AGM), 22nd April, 27th May, 24th June, 22nd July, 26th August, 23rd September, 28th October, 25th November and 23rd December. These dates are flexible and due notification should be given.
